This study aims to discuss the Wales-wales system in Javanese tradition of death, especially East Java. In community structure Dusun Melon, Desa Sidorejo, Malang Regency, (returning favor) is known as an activity help residents who are experiencing death. has been carried out for generations and thought be able become social glue lives Meloan, Sidorejo. activities there a reciprocal relationship that mutualism between one individual another, thus fostering cohesion persists this day. uses qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation intermittent interviews informants. Through Talcott Parson's AGIL concept, seeks answer problems related (1) how Welsh-Wales survived day (2) extent which local adapted their life. Based on results field analysis, at least research yields several points, namely form communication rural communities, Sidorejo Village, Regency; became relations Village when Covid-19 pandemic hit; (3) value agreed principle life must preserved part efforts strengthen communities.
